MARCH IPSY/MYGLAM BAG 2013 (CANADA)

HEY ya'll, so this is going to be my last bag because let's be real, these subscriptions aren't worth my money and I can't just pay for random things in these bags. Plus, I get makeup bags when I buy beauty products with gifts so I don't need a bag every month. It really builds up... ANYWAYS OFF TO THE PICTURES OF THE BAG.

I actually really really like this bag. I love the anchor theme and apparently that's totally in this season! :P

It's kind of thin but it'll be nice to take around. I like the non boring bags because I think that having a little patter goes a long way! I just love prints!!!

This little palette was really neat! This was by GLAMRX and it can fit all kinds of pans and it's best for on the go because it's so tiny and it has a nice size mirror. This palette has a magnet on the bottom so any kind of magnetic pan would fit into this.

These were so cute! Little YABY eyeshadow pans. I really like neutral colors because that's what I mainly wear anyways but I really wished that I got that nice turquoise colour that I saw other people had. It's still nice though and it's perfect for the little GLAMRX palette.

I got the colours SEASHELL what is white peral colour and AZALEA PETAL which is kind of a maroon red colour. They are both nice colours but it's not the most pigmented colours and not worth that much hype.

LA FRESH travel-lite makeup remover wipes. I'm just going to save these until I need them on the go because I have the big bags of makeup removers so I don't need to use the little packages.

JUICE BEAUTY

HYDRATING SPRAY CERTIFIED ORGANIC

I don't like the SMELL! I like the fact that it's organic, but in business talk, there still could be toxic chemicals in here so whatever I don't believe that anymore. This is like a setting spray or could be used as a toner.

OVERALL
I think this month's ipsy bag was pretty cool. There are all these products that I would never buy myself or ever pick up at a store. I'm glad this is my last bag because I don't want to spend more money on items that I don't need. This is only good for blogging purposes!

Your everyday spray for BIG volume! Spray & Play is a humidity resistant, flexible hold hairspray that provides fullness, lift and incredible shine! Perfect for all hair types.

I obviously got deluxe small version! ;)

I really enjoyed this month's Ipsy box but I wish that I had gotten the shading brush instead of this one. I also kinda wanted to get the red Nailtini nail polish instead of this cream one! But that's okay. I don't think that Ipsy is really personalizing our stuff because they are just sending us random things. I have no idea why they are even doing the personalization anymore...

All and all still great stuff! :)

IPSY/MYGLAM BAG DECEMBER 2012 (CANADA)

These are some of the goodies that I received in this month's Ipsy/Myglam bag! :)

Grey Metallic Pencil Case look-a-like

Mai Couture Highlighter Sheets
Supposedly you need to rip out a sheet and the wax paper has highlight powder on it. It seems odd to me but I've seen blush and contour sheet by the same company so I'm not surprised that they came out with highlighter sheets...
Retail for $28.00

Mirabella Face and Eye Primer
This kind of feels like the smashbox primer. It feels oily and when you put it on your skin you don't really know where the product went. But it will do the job if you're looking for something to make your foundation go on smoother.
Retail for $29.00

NYX Ultra Pearl Mania Pigment in Baby Pink Pearl
I personally don't like pigments that much because they are messy to handle, however it goes off great results. This is a really pretty highlight shade that will brighten up inner corners or add a little shine under the brow bone. It will be nice to have this little think in my makeup collection.
Retails for $4.99

Be a...Bombshell Lipgloss in Hot Mess
Very build-able lipgloss. Nothing out of the ordinary. Semi sticky and plain.
Retails for $14.00

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Pencil in Zero
Very pigmented eyeliner and has a lot of hype. It's creamy but not as long lasting as people say they are, at least for me... It's a nice travel size eyeliner none the less.
Full Size Retails for $19.00

Left: Bombshell Lipgloss; Right: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencil in Zero

My experience with Glymm Box/Bag

I've been seeing a lot of posts around about the Glymm box or now bag. I just want to share my opinion with everyone about my experiences with them. I have been a subscriber to Glymm for about 4 months before doing the switch over to GlossyBox. I found that even though Glymm was cheaper than GlossyBox, I wasn't getting as good of products as I did from Glossy.

Glymm has really obscure and unknown product brands that I have never heard of or will ever see in stores and a lot of samples were the bag ones and not a lot were deluxe or full sized.

Even though they advertise that Glymm is 10 a month, they're not telling you that the HST is added on to the price when you purchase your bow. This really blew because HST as you all know is 13% so it brought my total to $11.30 a month for a mediocre box. Meanwhile, Glossy is $15.00 and this includes tax and shipping making it only $3.70 more than Glymm. (Sorry about all the math) So it seemed like Glossy was clearly the way to go.

When  I tried to cancel Glymm, it took so much time that I had to pay for an extra box. Which I didn't want to do because that box sucked as per usual. Bottom line is that even though I give Glymm for trying I didn't really appreciate the extra money that I was spending on nothing.

Disclaimer: This is not an advertisement for Glossybox. This is simply my review on Glymm and comparison to Glossybox and how I feel about it. Thanks for reading.
